I'm as frustrated as anyone, but can anyone tell me why a manager would tell his team to hoof the ball up?
For me the answer is more to do with the midfield in front of the defenders, there's insufficient movement and a lack of a player(s) who can run through the middle. We've sorely missed Conlon and early in the season I posted that I couldnt see what Woods brings to the team, he runs round in spaces, picking out hospital passes for team mates and spends the match gurning and chunnering to himself, with no end product. Cant help but think he's the love child of Keith Lemon and an Oompa Loompa.

We look to be about to sign a striker, but where will his supply come from? I also think I'd recall Sutton and put him at right back instead of Caprice as we've been too vulnerable down that side last few games.
