Morning Peg. I agree to some extent, I love to be entertained by my team just as my name sake used to provide in most games he played, thats why the fans flocked to BP in the early 60s. But even some top teams play with a solid defence and win by the odd goal. i.e. Liverpool in the 70s and Arsenal of the nineties and noughties didn't always entertain. Even now they build on being solid.(best defence in the country).We obviously cannot compare to them but at our own level we have to find ways to get good results(it is a results business) or otherwise we would be having a good moan. Its likely that MM would fail at a higher level but I feel he could get us to that level. lets not forget that Joe struggled at the top level but the did well for us ,City,Ipswich a bit lower down and we were not always entertained in the early years.
MM has the knack especially in play offs.We have to stick as the players (if not always entertaining) are showing a great attitude.
