I agree wholeheartedly 409, it takes a long time to set up a good academy that can unearth 1 good player in a 5 or 6 years. I’m not up to speed with how they are doing now.
As regards the abuse, thank god the guy got what he deserved. I don’t like any fans including ours that keep bringing it to the games, it was one evil person in their clubs history, time to move on. I saw an interview with some of the victims on tv a few years ago, it was heartbreaking to see grown men breaking down on live tv.
