Yep, agree with most of that. Can’t expect everyone to agree though, for me Mellon is holding our club back. Every time we have a “cup tie” type of match we do well. We murdered, Halifax, battered York on their ground and beat Southend, gave Leyton Orient a scare, and beat Northampton recently, none of those clubs could hold us, Leyton Orient apart.
That would suggest the players have the capability to do far better than we are doing in the league at the moment and that says Mellon has the players here to be more successful than they are actually achieving.
Football is all about scoring goals restrain the players natural instinct and it will reflect on performances.
IMO he is not getting the best out of the players he signed, he’s stifling the players to some extent.
My message as always is let them go for it, the crowds will increase when your winning in style. 💙
