What a great article ..apparently when Donachie picked him up for training he didn’t speak because he would have a few pints the night before in his local and didn’t want Willie smelling alcohol on his breath 😀 but what a player ..I was once in the reception at the ground and the lady in the office shouts Palmer ..he comes around the corner, jeans and t-shirt .. just finished training..she hands him his pay packet ..he winks at me as he passes and I watch him saunter up Sheepfoot Lane probably catching his bus ..legend ..shame nobody can find him so he could do a similar matchday role to Ritchie ..but he’s probably to shy !!
