I would largely agree with you. I thought it had died a death. I also doubt that many of them have no idea of the origin of taking the knee. But. If you ban taking the knee do you also ban players players crossing themselves at the start of matches, or when they score? Do we ban poppy shirts. Do we ban the player that refuses to wear one on? Do we ban Tuchel because he doesn't sing the anthem? Having a minutes silence. I don't agree with the rainbow laces, or any of the positive discrimination. As I say I don't agree with any of it. But ban one thing and you open a can of worms. And I suppose, fuel the cause of the minorities, who then cite it as further proof of discrimination.
