Personal opinion from my only 2 games our problems aren't midfield or defence I think we have some decent signings in both areas that I thought played well yesterday and fought for every ball.
Compared to last year which I watched a lot our team is far more resilient and skillful.
Our problem as many have said is the forward line when Mellon brought on garner and fondop they didn't move away from each other at one stage all 3 off our strikers where in a bunch.
We had several very good crosses into the box and there was no realistic targets.
Mellon swaps the forward line so much they don't know how to play with each other and all appeared to try to claim the same areas.
Thought Quigley did a great job at hold up play but he isn't a very good goalscorer.
Garner as per usual spent his time on his backside apart from 1 Very skilful flick.
Didn't really notice fondop and Mellon should have Had several goals.
I have confidence we are safe in this league but can't see us scoring a bagfull of goals.
Will be interesting to see his line ups for salford
