That was the craziest first 10 minutes I can ever remember watching Latics and the alarming thing for me was that it took a full half of total chaos before a half time change in personnel eventually stemmed the tide!

It was quite obvious very early in the game that Sutton was struggling against Kanu and he should have been replaced by Caprice a lot earlier. I think we were extremely fortunate to be only one goal down because the game could have been out of our reach by half time.

They were a horrible team to play against, aka Bromley, but the players and the manager have to take responsibility and if that means changing the formation and/or personnel very early in the game then so be it……Horses for courses springs to mind!!

As a result we were much the better team in the 2nd half and if we’d taken two or three gilt edged chances we’d have won the game comfortably!
