Not really…….He was actually on a 2 month loan from Leeds when scoring at Kettering. He subsequently signed on a permanent deal on January 8 2007 and made his full debut as a Latics player on Jan 13 2007 against S####horpe and scored an own goal…..and I was there to see it!😆
