Fondop has done brilliantly for us in the National league but he’s just not good enough for the EFL. He gets in some great positions but definitely falls short in this division.

He’ll be a decent option from the bench against tired legs in the final quarter but IMO If we are relying on Fondop being our 1st line striker up front this season we won’t be chasing the playoffs.

I wouldn’t have signed Quigley either but he’s been signed for a specific purpose and when we get a proper striker his inclusion may become clearer.
