Maybe Peg it’s the old stick and carrot thing - and MM reckons Mikey responds better to the former. I seem to remember he was critical of him in a post-match comment last season and Fondop more or less agreed when he was next interviewed. Would have thought if the manager really wanted shot he could have engineered it over the summer and kept Norwood. Anyway, will be interesting to see whether Mikey starts the next game - and how he plays.
