Not sure what some people expect tbh. This is to all intents and purposes a new team it'll take at least 5-6 games to get a semblance of the team as they begin to gel. What I saw today was an organised hardworking team that battled and ran hard for the whole game. I was surprised by the aggression and intensity of Colchester and said at the final whistle that they had all the hallmarks of a team managed by Danny Cowley (although I hadn't realised then that he is their manager.) I think they will cause teams a lot of problems this season and be up there come season end, so it's too early to really judge that performance with any context for me, but I thought we looked on the whole pretty solid (albeit we gave a goal away cheaply)

With players out for a while its about battling through until they return, so for now am optimistic
