Thoroughly enjoyed today’s game - and we had enough chances to win three games!

They started very well and were the better team for the first 15/20 mins. Their left winger had Ogle on toast and they deservedly took the lead when they loaded the back post and had a man unmarked at the back stick. I feared the worst tbh.

We started to come back into it and I thought we dominated the rest of the game - especially the second half. Had some gilt edge chances to score but we were very wasteful - Drummond missed from a yard out when the keeper dropped it at his feet. He then blocked a shot on the line that was going in. Fortunately he missed Hawkes cross and it went straight in.

Carried on like that in the second half - lots of great chances and a few goalmouth scrambles. Clear cut chances which we simply have to score - but we were creative.

Really liked the look of Robson at left back - proper defender and liked to get stuck in. Hannant looked good when he came on. Less impressed with Hawkes and Morris - workmanlike at best today.

Conlon had a good game too.

Quigley did a lot of running to little effect and we were much better once Fondop came on.

Defence looked pretty solid. Overall, a hardworking effort from the team - played well overall, made and missed a lot of chances. Will win more often than not if they play like that.
