Sorry to rub salt in the wound Vic …but wasn’t Vic a “Mackem” and not a Geordie ? I ! One of my favourites too !! Saw him “doff his cap “ to the great George best when Fulham came to boundary park and he nut megged our Vic !! Came to live is stalybridge for a short time after retiring …don’t make em like him anymore ..that blue Umbro kit of that era is still my favourite ..
