Absolutely, in the context of the last 30 years of going backwards that goal was pure gold. Would you back us to have got out of National league this year? I certainly wouldn’t. The redfern goal was the icing on the cake as we were up anyway but Norwood’s goal (way beyond the scope of any other player on the park) saved us from another struggle to get out. In 65 years of watching Latics that is definitely my top goal because it gives us optimism at last.
