I will judge the ref in the France/England Womens Euro game for you.
England were bad but she was abysmal.
Early in the 2nd half the ball was played up towards the half way line by an England defender. The English striker Russo ran back towards her own half to collect the ball but was given offside( which she was ) as when the ball was played she was 5-6 yards in the French half. Amazingly the ref allowed the off side free kick to be taken from 5 yards in the English half. As you will know you can't be offside in your own half.
What made it worse to me was that both commentators never mentioned what had just happened.
Late 2nd half a French player slid in to a tackle and her studs went into the England players knee causing a cut and needing treatment. Whilst being treated the commentator said VAR were looking at a possible red card. After a couple of minutes VAR decided it wasn't a red card but on resumption the ref gave a bounced ball to restart. No freekick and not even a yellow card.
Needless to say the Ref was very poor for both teams and this was a Euro match.
