Pegleg, I’m not Mellon’s biggest fan but to his credit the only time he was really able to put out his strongest team (Leake excepted) was in the last four games, so we really don’t know whether he could have done it for a full season. However, the bottom line is that he did it, and judging from his body language when interviewed before the playoffs, I think he knew that he was going to do it.
