Vibra Hotels, which runs the hotel, said it is a 'shame' its staff had to deal with the incident, when tourists are supposed to be 'enjoying their holidays'.

A spokesperson for the chain said: "The fight in the pool lasted less than three minutes since our corporate security at the hotel acted immediately.

"No chairs were thrown at any guests; the lady got in the middle, it seems that with the intention to stop the fight.
