Obviously very very important, but the skill it to takes to get everything right in sequence was a sight to behold for anybody, fans and professionals a like. First the nudge on the ball from his shoulder, then the strength to hold of the defender, the judge of pace and deft touch to tap past the keeper not taking it to far, then not bottling it and placing it firmly in the middle of the empty net.
And it’s not the first time he’s done it for us, class act.
My personal opinion is people read his body language wrong, some fans can’t take to him and I understand that. The players don’t seem to feel the same though.
