To be quite honest,I’m more concerned about who we will bring into the club over the next few weeks! Taking Pett as an example,he has indicated that he would like to come back to Boundary Park and as a free agent,he could sign for us or any other club for that matter. Now that reality has kicked in he will be after the best contract he can get and that won’t necessarily be with Latics.. We should be starting to recruit soon if we want to come out of next season in good shape. There are some good sides in division 2 and we are nowhere near at present. I notice that Richard Smallwood has left Bradford City after playing in 42 games last season when they achieved promotion. Strong holding midfielder with leadership qualities and just the type we need!
