The football has been dreadful all season apart from the last four or five games, don’t forget that! I think he got lucky in a sense, the injuries forced him into bringing in players and they managed to gel and find some form once they settled in. For me football should be played with style, not booted all the time.You can win promotion playing attractive football the Halifax and York games prove it and so did big Joe.
The euphoria surrounding the promotion may be clouding peoples memory.
I’m not complaining about the promotion at all, but the manner in which it is attained also matters and no one will change my mind on that.
