I beg to differ Andrew as on Wednesday 21st June 1967, Athletic suffered their only defeat on their tour of Rhodesia when they went down 3-2 to Rio Tinto in Que Que. The scorers for the Latics were Reg Blore and Bill Asprey (pen) in a game that was played before a crowd of 4,777.
