What a fantastic opening 15 minutes to a game!!

Bold decisions by MM in the team selection - bringing in Monthe after injury and starting with Evans and Garner. But if you are not going to risk it for this match then you never are! The atmosphere was electric (loved the banners!) and the lads used the energy brilliantly to start really well. Three nil up after 12 mins and it could have been more!

For me, it wasn’t that Halifax didn’t turn up - it was that we blew them away with our energy and quick movement and passing.

Hit the inside of the post in the first half, had more chances in second gear in the second and then a superb fourth - lovely pass inside from Yogi to Pritchard for a great strike.

Sensible subs by MM to protect players on yellow cards and returning from injury.
