Spent many a holiday at Gwithian Towans in-between Hayle and Camborne Doc. Stunningly beautiful and very exciting growing up hearing tales of pirates, giants throwing rocks at one another, the Red River (now not flowing red because of the tin mine closures).

Special times for me, I haven’t been down that way since I took my mother just before she passed. I might just have a long weekend there this summer if I get chance.
