No, no real link. Both Einstein and Oppenheimer had ties to Princeton University, but alas, AE died in 1955, and I did not arrive as an undergraduate until a year later. It is true, however, that the senior physicists did teach (and enjoyed teaching) undergraduate introductory physics courses, and I had the good fortune to have John A. Wheeler (of black hole fame) as my professor for a year. |
