here a study from the Netherlands, used twin study work to see whether various traits are genetic or not.
It was a complicated article (for me) but a few points were interesting: Aggression trait did not correlate with the other traits studied such that the authors thought that Aggression had genetic origins unrelated to such issues as "well being, anxiety and depression, and scholastic achievement"
Another interesting point was that well-being did not correlate much with scholastic achievement. So a happy child is not necessary a child with scholastic achievement. However well-being did correlate well genetically with low anxiety and depression.
One take home from the article was that the authors thought that an individual child or adult with poor sense of well-being was genetically at risk for psychological problems.
