Evidence seems to mount that the serotonin transporter, P trait candidate gene, is a cause of autism. This is consistent with hypotheses from NPA theory that NP types seem to be associated with autism. Other observations include the tendancy for increased autism in children of workers in the computer tech field. It seems that if parents are both with P trait, the chances of autism in offspring goes up fairly high.
