Here the authors reach no definite conclusion about the origin of aboriginal people of Australia, but the high frequency of ABO A in most groups there suggest a very early exit from Africa. ABO A is posited by most experts to be the original ABO blood group so the Australian aborigines may have left prior to the evolutional process that selected ABO O (based on the lesser mortality in ABO O from malaria). The route of migration out of Africa posited by NPA theory is through the middle east along the coast of the Indian Ocean and into Australia. The NPA trait A may have been an impetus as well.
Do the aboriginal populations of Australia exhibit low temperament? I think so.
