In Amish, it would appear that ABO A gene is very high frequency as do Askenazi Jewish.
In the earliest genographic work, CEU was studied as an indicator of European ancestry genetics. CEU is Utah Mormon. They also have a very high frequency of ABO A gene.
So it is intriguing to wonder about Quakers, Shakers, Seventh Daay Adventists and many other close knit groups,
One wonders if the low temperament hypothesis linked with abo A is manifested in the calmness and quiet nature of these people?? Does this support their work with family centered and religion centered approach to living?
