Here's a good summary of population genetics.Looking at some of the figures shows that any well described classification of humans can be congruent with other classifications. For example the NPA habitancy map observations are congruent with the Y dna work, the Mitodna work, and the whole genome work. There's some congruence with the oldest genetic description of populations as well, the ABO gene distributions.
