Here the authors concluded that in an American sample living in southeast near university center, genes (that we would see as candidate genes for A- trait) had different effects in Asian and Caucasian, with Asians having more depressive symptoms as well as lower socioeconomic status and higher life stresses. In Asians, having lower A trait, the A- genetics would not manifest in the same way as they would in Caucasian, having higher A trait since is one doesn't have A trait, one can't have A- trait in its full expression.
Of course there are other issues such as haplotypes possibly consisting of different snaps in different ethnicities.
