In this review, they noted that males were more likely to allergic rhinitis compared to females. This would fit with the male prevalence in schizophrnia and the association of allergic rhinitis with schizophrenia. It sounds like a pilot study? So, its just exploratory. And they tried to look at ABO blood groups and allergic diagnoses. Allergic rhinitis and asthma seemed to be linked ( in several non-Asia populations) with ABO O and Allergic diseases with non-ABO blood groups. Lot more work to do it sounds like.
