FDR remains an amazing presidency, everything from his blueblood ancestry to his being wheelchair bound , to his reputation as a perfect leader for his era. He is often used as an example of a conventionally personally immoral man who seems to have an exemplary morality in general.
Here's a fellow thought of as his kingmaker, James Farley. He seems to have been an NPA+, keeping FDR on the throne while Farley was being also a corporate leader, pushing Coca Cola to world dominance using taxpayer support. Oh way, maybe all is well that ends well, or is it?
