THE YELLOW CANARY is the latest FNF restoration, which is not the least of their efforts (that would be THE ARGYLE SECRETS) but is a rather wan footnote from the early sixties, featuring two entertainment figures definitely cast against type (Pat Boone and Barbara Eden). Veteran TV director Buzz Kulik was the mastermind; his later (neo-)noir WARNING SHOT is a more substantial effort. Both Eden and Boone (both exceptionally long-lived) will be on hand for an interview with Eddie on 4/4 (which is also the birthdays of Alan Rode and Esther Howard).
