Enough plot here for two seasons of a TV series nowadays, but the film is only 67 minutes! Noir-adjacent rather than true noir, as will be apparent if you watch it. John Beal’s Milton Higby is an appealing protagonist (although as you can tell from his name, a bit of a born loser). I love the fact that the reason for the title is completely unclear until the final 90 seconds. Very entertaining overall.
