We screened KRAKATIT as part of our A RARE NOIR IS GOOD TO FIND 2 international noir series (Roxie Theater) back in 2017. Great to see Deaf Crocodile give it lavish,long-overdue restoration with all the trimmings.

Not mentioned in the otherwise excellent article is the fact that mercurial beauty Florence Marly (wife of pioneering French noir director Pierre Chenal) has a significant role in KRAKATIT's feverish action.
