Foster Hirsch will travel to Boston as is now customary for the mini-fest version of the "Dark City Dames" edition of NC. It would be wonderful if someone would videotape his introductions!

Pat yourself on the back if you said Ann Savage and DETOUR. Seems to me that they could have added it into the festival; perhaps the folks at the Brattle put the kibosh on it.

It's just another mish-mash of a schedule, which is a common feature of the FNF programming. After the iconic opening night, it's just a head-scratching collision of films, with several films showcasing certain actresses who clearly have better noirs in their filmography available to screen...
