Thanks, Bob. That's an excellent group of candidates for a top 25. But there are more of 'em, so I'm hoping to see some additional suggestions from others before we attempt to take the idea into further nuance. (Some might recall the discussions here some years ago about "hard" vs. "soft" femme fatales: while there are definitely gradations to be identified, we might want to attempt a different anatomization based on the character backgrounds as established in the films themselves--social status and class play a significant part in creating the variants of the "women who go astray," and defining all that for these characters could add some additional insight.)
