The Republic titles in question would be:
THE FLAME (1947)
THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS (1953)
HELL'S HALF ACRE (1954)
Not at all a bad set, better than most for being a reasonable snapshot of solid product from a studio that churned out a lot of B-noir. It's also an "auteurist" set in that it features three noirs directed by John H. Auer, one of the more "under the radar" emigrés in Hollywood (born in Hungary, educated in Vienna), a long-time fixture at Republic.
Imogen Smith was always fond of THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS--and, sure enough, you'll hear her semi-dulcit tones on the commentary track.
DARK SIDE XXV will be releaed on April 8.
