One of the great mysteries of Noir City Chicago has been the absence of Robert Mitchum films. I always enjoy his film noir performances, but he has gotten very little play at the Chicago festivals. While not completely shut out, Mitchum has rarely gotten much recognition at the Music Box Theater.
