September's NOIR ALLEY schedule contains two more repeat films, both from 1947: OUT OF THE PAST and HIGH WALL. As was noted earlier, this is just part of the reality of what is available to screen...but that situation seems to be intensifying.

HIGH WALL's repeat on 9/28 will mark the 11th repeat in the last 22 NOIR ALLEy episodes. That's 50%, and is the highest repeat percentage for any 22-episode segment of the series.

The first repeat screening for NOIR ALLEY occurred in episode 128. Since then, the overall repeat screening percentage is just under 18%.

Not a bad lineup at all, actually. The 32 titles there would make a pretty nice festival for 2025...

One thing I've not done is look at the noirs screened on TCM that have not yet screened on NOIR ALLEY. That would take a rather elaborate effort; I've not got the time to do so...but maybe one of these days!
