The NC DC schedule has been posted, and as expected it is the most comprehensive of all the NC "darkness has no borders" series in 2024.

30 films in all (still a few shy of the combined number of films we'll show at the Roxie this fall for THE FRENCH HAD A NAME FOR IT '24) with two rare films from our earlier screenings (Symphony for A Massacre, from FRENCH 6 in 2019; Assault on the Pay Train, from RARE NOIR 1 in 2015 and RARE NOIR 3 last year) in the lineup.

Without Pity (Sensa pieta), a post-war film from Italy that played at NC Oakland, returns here with the British WWII noir The Small Back Room, which makes its only appearance in the lineup.

All the films are repeated at least once, in two weekly cycles. Weekend 1 is tailored for Eddie's presence, Weekend 2 will be handled by the ever-reliable Foster Hirsch. (Repeat screenings shown below in small type.)
