I'm sure that most of the festival will be based on what has been the case around the country this year, which will consist of double features built around the idea MCP originated in 2023 (a more specific variation that coupled French noirs with American noirs). As noted, it probably will look a lot like what was done in Seattle, since these two festivals are the same length.

The LA festival added extra American noirs into the schedule via some negotiations that are not completely known. They had more dates to fill, and perhaps they were concerned that the concept would "sag" in the middle.

The '24 festival approach is Eddie's baby; I doubt Alan had much input into it--the scuttlebutt about it was that more input came from Imogen Smith, whose fingerprints are on some of the choices for foreign noirs.
