Now here is a terrific series, featuring a generous slice of Epoca de Oro Mexican cinema that, like so much French film noir, has simply been impossible to see for decades.

A wide range of genres gets covered here, with films from the 40s to the early 70s.

Wonderful to see the "second-tier" noir directors (Alejandro Galindo, Tito Davison) finally get some exposure.

Sunday the 28th is definitely a dream day for noiristas...but there are fascinating films in other genres as well: hoping that this series will make it to the West Coast intact.
