I never did do any work on the San Francisco side, and the Los Angeles list here surely needs to be supplemented from / cross-checked with the filmography in Jim Dawson’s book on Bunker Hill. Plus there is so much to be said about location filming in other cities. These lists were just first steps. Someone needs to do a book devoted to the location shooting theme, if that hasn’t been done already.

Side note: The star of one of the ultimate Los Angeles street films Model Shop, Anouk Aimée, passed away today. She has some Fifties crime films and moody dramas on her CV.
