July's Noir Alley lineup is in the books and there are more repeats in store, with ARMORED CAR ROBBERY getting the nod for the 300th episode on July 6 and RED LIGHT coming up for air again two weeks later.

Foreign noir gets more of a toehold than usual in the next eight screenings, with the FNF-restored NEVER OPEN THAT DOOR coming our way this coming Saturday and THE HOUSEMAID (first shown by MCP at our A RARE NOIR IS GOOD TO FIND 2 international noir festival in 2017) coming to TCM at the end of July.

The real "treat" here, of course, is THE WOMAN ON PIER 13, red-baiting noir "par excellence" with Robert Ryan working overtime to not betray his disdain for the material.
