Foster Hirsch will host at the Brattle Theater for the first three days of NC Boston, which begins Friday, June 14th (which is also Flag Day, and the birthday of someone who is so well-known that he will mercifully remain unnamed).

It's literally an odd schedule, with 11 films, meaning that one of the features is not being paired with anything. That's a strange omission for a series predicated on pairing films together, but there you go.

At NC Oakland, ELEVATOR was paired with the UK heist film STRONGROOM, which kinda worked situationally; since much of the presentation of these films will be digital, I don't think that's the reason for omitting it here, but perhaps there was some internal issue at the Brattle that prompted this programming choice.

The Brattle offers a "discount" package of $80 for all 11 films, better than in most places but "hardly a bargain"--we apparently are now living in a world where there are no bargains...!
