Asterisks (*) indicate films that are repeat screenings.
Regarding repeat screenings: they are becoming more frequent as the series moves toward its 300th episode (the June 29th screening is #299). There were no repeats until episode 128, when CRIME WAVE was the first to appear more than once. (That seems entirely in keeping with the heavy love for the film that filters through the FNF, most recently in flashing-neon display in the recent "LA issue" of the e-zine, where CRIME WAVE was the only 50s "LA noir" to rate an essay.)
This is what the numbers tell us, in various levels of granularity:
0-100: 0
101-200: 12
201-299: 19
101-150: 3
151-200: 9
201-250: 10
251-299: 9
So the more detailed breakout shows a pattern of around 20% repeat performances being steadily in place since episode 151. (And, yes, REPEAT PERFORMANCE is one of the films that's been repeated!)
The highest percentage of clustered repeat screenings is occurring right now: with half of the 14 episodes from #286 (WHERE DANGER LIVES) through 299 being films screened previously on NOIR ALLEY.
Anyone care to guess what two films have (or will have) had three screenings on NOIR ALLEY by episode 299?
