I thought it was terrific. Alas, I've recommended it to a few friends who couldn't handle the deliberate pace or the b/w. I guess I should disown these friends.

Right on the heels of Ripley, I've been watching the FX series version of Shogun, which is equally stunning but another one you'd best be wary of recommending to everyone.
