True, Sears was operating on very low budgets. As I say, I've liked a lot of his movies, but he's very much a journeyman in my eyes. Fregonese was good on location - however, that last act of Apache Drums which is very much studio bound is simply terrific.
I haven't gotten round to Vice Squad yet - looking forward to doing so though.
